Terms of Service

1. Agreement

Bedrock is operated by Bedrock Test Prep LLC, a Virginia limited liability company. By creating an account or using Bedrock, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data and forms part of this agreement.

2. Who can use Bedrock

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under 18, you may use Bedrock only with the permission of a parent or guardian. That parent or guardian agrees to these terms on your behalf and is responsible for any charges.

3. Your account

Accounts are created through Google sign-in. Your account is personal and is for one person. You may not share it, sell it, or allow anyone else to sign in with it. You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account, so keep your Google account secure. We may suspend or close an account that is shared or used in breach of these terms.

4. Free and Pro

Much of Bedrock is free with an account. Bedrock Pro unlocks the full question bank, video lessons, problem variations, and practice tests. We may change what is included in the free tier or in Pro over time. If we remove something material from Pro during a period you have paid for, contact us and we will make it right.

5. Subscriptions, renewal, and cancellation

Bedrock Pro is offered in two forms. Please read this section before you subscribe.

• Monthly. This subscription renews automatically every month, and your payment method is charged the then-current monthly price each month, until you cancel. There is no fixed end date.
• 6-month pass. A single charge for six months of access. It does not renew and will not charge you again.

The current price of each plan is shown on the Pro page and again at checkout, before you confirm.

How to cancel. Go to Account and open the billing portal, where you may cancel at any time, including immediately after subscribing. Cancellation does not require you to contact us by email or telephone. Cancelling stops all future charges. Your Pro access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for, and then ends.

Prices are in US dollars and do not include any taxes that may apply where you live. We may change prices in the future. Price changes will apply as permitted by law and by Stripe's billing flow.

6. Refunds

Cancelling stops future charges. We do not automatically refund partial billing periods or the unused portion of a 6-month pass. If you were charged in error, charged twice, or a fault on our side prevented you from using what you paid for, contact us at eric.wolpert@learnsatmath.com and we will review the charge.

Please note that deleting your account cancels your subscription immediately and forfeits any time remaining in the period you paid for. To keep your access until that period ends, cancel from your account page first and delete the account later.

7. Ownership of the material

Every problem, solution, explanation, video, diagram, and piece of writing on Bedrock was created by us and belongs to us. While your account is in good standing, we grant you a personal, non-transferable license to use that material for your own studying. No other rights are granted.

You may not:

• Copy, republish, resell, or redistribute Bedrock material, in any medium, including in your own tutoring, course, or question bank.
• Download, record, screen-capture, or re-host the videos, or remove the watermark from them.
• Scrape the site, or use bots, crawlers, or automated tools to bulk-collect problems, solutions, or answers.
• Circumvent, disable, or work around the Pro paywall.
• Use Bedrock material to train a machine learning model, or provide it to a third party for that purpose.
• Share your account or your access with anyone else.

You may use Bedrock to study, including as a tutor preparing your own lessons. You may not distribute our material to your students or present it as your own.

8. Content you submit

When you report a problem or log a past score, you retain whatever rights you hold in what you wrote, and you grant us permission to use it to correct and improve Bedrock. Do not submit anything you do not have the right to send us, and do not submit other people's personal information.

9. No affiliation with the College Board

Bedrock is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the College Board. SAT is a trademark registered by the College Board, which was not involved in producing and does not endorse this product. References to the exam describe the subject matter we teach and nothing more.

10. No guarantee of results

Bedrock is a study tool. Your score depends on your own preparation and performance. We do not promise any particular score, score increase, admission outcome, or other result, and nothing on the site should be read as such a promise.

11. Availability

We do not promise that Bedrock will be available without interruption. We may change, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service. If we discontinue a paid feature entirely while you have paid for it, we will refund the unused portion.

12. Termination

You may stop using Bedrock at any time, and delete your account from your account page. We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms, in particular section 7, or if we are required to do so by law. If we terminate your account without cause while you have paid for a period, we will refund the unused portion.

13. Disclaimers

Bedrock is provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the material is free of errors. Every problem includes a button for reporting one.

14. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Bedrock Test Prep LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any lost profits, lost data, or lost opportunities, arising out of your use of Bedrock. Our total liability to you for any claim relating to Bedrock is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations, in which case they apply to you only to the extent that jurisdiction permits.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change is material, we will notify you by email or in the app before it takes effect, and the date at the top of this page will change. Continuing to use Bedrock after that date means you accept the revised terms.

16. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in the Commonwealth of Virginia, and you and we both submit to those courts. Nothing in these terms removes any consumer right you hold that cannot be waived under the law where you live.
